COURSE DESCRIPTION
SPANISH 2
Prerequisite: Spanish 1 or Credit By Exam Levels 1A & 1B
DIGITAL CLASSROOM:
This Spanish 2 class combines audio, visual and online material for a communicative approach. Students will use an electronic/online textbook and other teacher created materials throughout the school year. The majority of assignments will be turned in electronically (online, Canvas, e-mail, or OneDrive). Student will use their assigned school email account to submit assignments back to the teacher.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed for students to continue to improve their knowledge of the Spanish language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing within a cultural framework. Students will acquire the vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary to communicate and comprehend at the intermediate level. This course also covers a multitude of cultural topics to give students a broader understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. Students will continue to explore literary works in the target language. There will be a review of previously learned material. This course is intended for students who have obtained credit in Spanish 1 and to prepare them for the third year of Spanish.
